Student Protest in Downtown Montreal, March 22 2012
Over 200 000 students from all over Québec protesting against the tuition fee hikes walked down the streets of Montreal this Thursday afternoon. It was beautiful and quite impressive; a sea of people.

Student Strike at Concordia University on March 21st 2012 - Montreal, Canada 
I was passing by with my friend and I decided to take out my camera to take a few photos of the informal speech that was happening in front of Concordia’s main Hall building. It’s good to see there are people actively fighting for student rights and accessibility to education. 

I am so glad to be a part of this movement! I can’t think of a better way to spend my last semester of University.

A livre-objet highlighting the differences in gender roles through traditional and modern wedding vows. The white satin wedding dress is symbolic of the ‘virgin bride’, and on the skirt the traditional wedding vows are embroidered in light blue, in which the bride promising to serve, obey and submit to her husband.
